Dear Friends,
This summer cPanel announced new "per account" pricing structure: https://blog.cpanel.com/update-to-account-based-pricing/
As of result, all dedicated cPanel license fees will significantly increase. It would be easier for us to switch to other reliable control panels which are much, much cheaper. However, we've been offering cPanel since 2004. Most of our customers are resellers and we do understand how frustrated would it be to transition from well-known cPanel to other control panel. Everything would be completely different (webmail, FTP, MariaDB, account management etc). That's why we decided to keep cPanel without price increase for most resellers/SD customers but need your help.
Please login to WHM (main control panel) then remove accounts that are not in use by August 25th, 2019. This would certainly help us to keep cPanel on your servers without price increase.
Please note: all web-hosting and reseller accounts that are not in use (no bandwidth/traffic) for the past 60 days will be removed by August 28th, 2019 to avoid cPanel license fees. Possible scenario: cPanel account was not in use (no traffic for more than 60 days), removed per cPanel advisory but your client came back then paid your bill. In this case, we'll restore website free of charge. Basically, we'll keep yearly backups on our offsite backup servers. Backups are being stored for the period of 12 months.
Accounts are subject for removal:
- suspended accounts (compromised accounts, accounts suspended by end-users or resellers);
- accounts with no traffic (60-days);
- suspended accounts for non-payments (30-days).
New reseller accounts will be converted to following packages:
RS-1: cPanel 50
RS-2: cPanel 75
RS-3: cPanel 100
SD-1: cPanel 100
SD-2: cPanel 150
SD-3: cPanel 250
Existing customers with less than 100 separated cPanel accounts will not be affected. If you have more than 100 cPanel accounts inside WHM, we'll provide you an upgrade option by October 1st, 2019. We will offer recurring credits towards upgrade in order to assist you with monthly or yearly payments.
We do apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your continued business with us. If you have any questions regarding new cPanel per account pricing structure, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you very much for your support and understanding.
